When Allie Jones' daughter, Mandy, arrives at The Cosy Cottage Cafe in tears one spring morning, Allie is extremely concerned. She's been worried about her career-driven daughter for a while, and she's hoping she'll finally get to find out what's wrong.

Dawn Dix-Beaumont has her hands full with three young children, a husband who works from home and the guinea pig family that lives in her garden. She's happier than she's ever been, but is it too good to last?

Camilla Dix is madly in love with local vet Tom Stone. Being with Tom and cuddling her baby niece have stirred feelings she didn't know she had, but it's far too soon to be making long-term plans. Isn't it?

Honey Blackwell's boyfriend, Dane Ackerman, has secured his teaching post at Heatherlea Primary School and they've decided to live together. Everything seems to be working out well, until a member of Honey's household expresses a clear dislike for the handsome teacher.

Plus someone has been planning a proposal...

How nice it is to be back in The Cosy Cottage Cafe with everyone! This time there is drama, romance, friendship and quite simply - just happiness! This entire series has been absolutely delightful and I've enjoyed every novella - enjoying the cafe more every time I return. Rachel Griffiths has a way of completely drawing you in and this novella is no different.

Even though there is quite a few in the series, you could read them as a standalone as well as each time they focus on someone/something different. I would say though that I would recommend you reading them all in order as you get the most out of the characters and the storylines that way! The underlining theme is the friendship between the women and I must say that it was absolutely lovely to read about.

Reading these novels are a great and enjoyable way of spending a few hours and I would definitely recommend it. You'll end up feeling all happy and bubbly afterwards! They're such feel good and heartwarming novella's and I love that. Why would you not want to read a book that makes you feel all happy and warm inside?! There are funny moments, romantic ones, and in this one especially, quite emotional moments.

It was an absolute joy to read and I have enjoyed every page. Thank you to Rachel Griffiths for a copy of this novel, which I have reviewed, as always, honestly.
