My Kindle Sale Summer Reads

So today is just a quick post to let you all know what I bought in the Kindle Summer Sale! These are my top picks:

A Summer Fling
Milly Johnson
Price: 99p

Synopsis:

When dynamic, power-dressing Christie blows in like a warm wind to take over their department, five very different women find themselves thrown together at work. But none of them could have predicted the fierce bond of friendship that her leadership would inspire ...

Anna, 39, is reeling from the loss of her fiancĂ©, who ran off with a much younger woman. Her pride in tatters, these days Anna finds it difficult to leave the house. So when a handsome, mysterious stranger takes an interest in her, she's not sure whether she can learn to trust again? Then there's Grace, in her fifties, trapped in a loveless marriage with a man she married because, unable to have children of her own, she fell in love with his motherless brood. Grace worries that Dawn is about to make the same mistake: orphaned as a child, engaged to love-rat Calum, is Dawn more interested in the security that comes with his tight-knit, boisterous family? When a sexy, footloose rock singer catches her eye, will Dawn have the courage to follow her heart?

At 28, Raychel is the youngest member of their little gang. And with a loving husband, Ben, and a cosy little nest for two, she would seem to be the happiest. But what dark secrets are lurking behind this perfect facade, that make sweet, pretty Raychel so guarded and unwilling to open up?

How could you resist this when it's 99p!? I've always loved Milly Johnson's novels so when I saw this I knew I had to buy it. I'm always on the look out for cheap Milly Johnson books so if you see any, let me know! :)

Another amazing looking novel for just 99p. I haven't read any other Teresa Morgan books but just look at this cover! How could you resist it? It's so pretty!

Just for the Holidays
Sue Moorcroft
Price: 99p

Synopsis:

In theory, nothing could be better than a summer spent basking in the French sun. That is, until you add in three teenagers, two love interests, one divorcing couple, and a very unexpected pregnancy.
Admittedly, this isn’t exactly the relaxing holiday Leah Beaumont was hoping for – but it’s the one she’s got. With her sister Michele’s family falling apart at the seams, it’s up to Leah to pick up the pieces and try to hold them all together.
But with a handsome helicopter pilot staying next door, Leah can’t help but think she might have a few distractions of her own to deal with…

I've been keeping my eye on this one and just waiting until it went to 99p! For some reason I don't neccesarily buy Kindle books unless they are 99p (I have so many it would have cost me tons otherwise!) The cover instantly drew me in so I knew I had to buy!

The New Beginnings Coffee Club
Samantha Tongue
Price: 99p

Synopsis:

Jenny Masters finds herself living the modern dream. Wife to a millionaire, living in a mansion and mother to Kardashian-obsessed ten-year-old April, there isn't anything missing. Until, her whole world comes crashing down, forcing Jenny and April to leave behind their glittering life an start over with nothing.

Now this is the one that I was most excited about! As soon as I saw this cover I wanted to buy it. However, I waited out and I'm glad I did because it ended up going in the sale! So was very happy about this one!

The Summer Seaside Kitchen
Jenny Colgan
Price: 99p

Synopsis:

Flora is definitely, absolutely sure that escaping from the quiet Scottish island where she grew up to the noise and hustle of the big city was the right choice. What was there for her on Mure? It's a place where everyone has known her all her life, and no one will let her forget the past. In the city, she can be anonymous, ambitious and indulge herself in her hopeless crush on her gorgeous boss, Joel.
When a new client demands Flora's presence back on Mure, she's suddenly swept back into life with her brothers (all strapping, loud and seemingly incapable of basic housework) and her father. As Flora indulges her new-found love of cooking and breathes life into the dusty little pink-fronted shop on the harbour, she's also going to have to come to terms with past mistakes - and work out exactly where her future lies...
-----------------
This is one in which I wasn't 100% sure on to be honest.. I have only ever read one of Jenny Colgan's books and unfortunately I couldn't finish it. So after receiving good reviews about the author, I took the plunge and hopefully it works out! I'll let you all know!
What have you bought from the Kindle Summer Sale?
